Update on Implementation of the New Collective Agreement

We are pleased to share an update on the implementation of the new Collective Agreement. Treasury Board has informed us that the changes to the rates of pay in the pay systems are anticipated to take place on July 16th, and that members should see the new rates of pay reflected on their July 31st pay stub.
 

Unfortunately, we do not yet have information on when any retroactive pay or the $2,500 signing bonus will be paid. As per the terms of the agreement, the employer has 180 days to process these retroactive payments from the date the new Collective Agreement was signed (May 3, 2024) for cases that do not require manual intervention. For cases that require manual processing, it may take up to 460 days. As soon as we have any updates on these timelines, we will pass them along.
