Eligibility
To join the Association of Justice Counsel (AJC) as an Associate Member, a person must have been previously employed as an LP (formerly known as LA) in a non-excluded position covered by the AJC-TB collective agreement whether or not they ever held Regular Membership status with the Association prior to its certification in 2006.

As an Associate Member you will have access to the following benefits:
- You'll be eligible to receive labour-relations advice/services on matters that may impact
you after your effective departure date; - You'll receive the AJC's regular communique service delivered to your email address;
- You'll receive AJC's weekly press clippings on topics of interest to federal lawyers and
the public service in general; and - You'll be able to attend the AJC's Annual General Meeting as an observer.
Union Dues
Associate Members shall be required to pay dues by way of annual lump-sum payment equivalent to $200 per calendar year. The first year is prorated based on the date joined.
