Latest Update on Standby Duty

Treasury Board has sent us a draft proposal this week. We are currently reviewing the proposal and continue to negotiate with them for an interim resolution that respects the principles of the SCC ruling, pending the arbitral award.

Rest assured that the AJC is considering all of its options in the event the parties are unable to resolve the standby duty issue. We will keep you informed of any further developments.
