Bargaining Update: Initial Proposals Exchanged 

We are very pleased to let our members know that the AJC Negotiations Committee (NC) wrapped up its first two full days of collective bargaining with the Employer on December 5 and 6, 2023.  The parties exchanged proposals and settled a number of matters by the end of the second day of bargaining.   

Due to the holiday season and availability issues, new dates for collective bargaining have been scheduled for January 17, 18 and 19, and then on February 8 and 9, 2023.  However, both sides have agreed to continue their discussions from now, until the new bargaining dates in January, by making themselves available to answer questions on the proposals that were tabled in this initial round and resolving matters secretarially where possible.
