Policy Grievance filed against PPSC
Monday, June 12, 2017
On May 30th 2017, the AJC filed a policy grievance against the employer and PPSC for not providing “Exceeds” ratings to 20% of the entire LP population within the PPSC.
PPSC only awarded 18.5% of the LPs within PPSC for 2016-2017 evaluation year received an “exceeds” rating (At DOJ, 20% of LPs received “Exceeds” ratings for 2016-2017 evaluation year).
Prior to filing this grievance, the AJC filed an identical policy grievance on June 2, 2014. That policy grievance was resolved and the subject of a with-prejudice memorandum of settlement, wherein the continued commitment to provide “exceeds” ratings to 20% of the LP population at PPSC was recognized, consistent with an earlier undertaking provided to the AJC from Treasury Board.
We look forward to a resolution of the dispute.
